Leadership

Program Overview

The Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program is for young people who have completed at least the 10th grade. Being a camp counselor is a lot of fun - and it's also a great responsibility. Participants will have a special training program where they will learn about being a counselor and work on developing skills necessary to be an effective leader. Additionally, participants will receive instruction in teaching techniques, camping skills, human relations and child development. Those who commit to the training program will discover a lot about themselves and their leadership potential.

Our Leadership Development programs are two-week training and orientation sessions in which the participants learn about the role and responsibilities of the camp counselor. Participants will gain valuable training experience and gain knowledge of information to aid in both their leadership growth and personal development.
