Heart of Camp – Projects

Camp Greenville needs your help. We have a number of in-kind donation opportunities for those who love Camp Greenville and want to see it flourish for another 100 years. Below are 2 projects that we plan to start in Fall 2017. These 2 projects  are following the success of many other projects as part of the Heart of Camp campaign including;

Water/Sewer Infrastructure–completed spring 2017
Office and Welcome Center-completed winter of 2016
Lake Sudie Swimming Area-compelted spring 2017
Greenville Health System Health Hut-competed fall 2016

We need your help, not just money. Would you be willing to donate your time or resources to help in the Fall 2017 / Spring 2018 phase of Camp Greenville Development? Our two projects are a Guest House renovation and New Nature Center.

Guest House: Guest House Design Package

The Administrative Office camp just moved from is a stone structure that was dedicated in 1954. With the completion of the new Office and Welcome Center this building will be renovated to provide a comfortable mountain accommodation for camp guests and VIPs. This 1,092 square foot facility will be reconfigured to contain two small bedrooms, a full bathroom, a living room with a fireplace and a kitchenette.

Nature Center: Nature Center Renovation Drawings

With the construction of the new GHS Health Hut, Camp Greenville’s previous health center will be converted into an amazing nature center for the over 8000 people who visit Camp Greenville each year to enjoy. It will be replacing the current nature center which is extremely undersized.
