December Camper Updates

[This information applies specifically to registered summer camp participants, and was sent via email to registered families on December 10.]


Happy December 10! It’s time for our next monthly installment of Updates for Campers. In a few short weeks, it’ll be 2025!! And you’re closer and closer to heading up to camp for the summer of a lifetime. 
In this email is everything you need to know right now to help prepare for summer!

REMINDERS

  • Finances: If you are enrolled in a payment plan, the next payment date is December 15. The deadline to make any changes to your saved payment method, etc will be noon on December 13. If your payment declines due to an expired payment method or insufficient funds, your account will automatically be charged a $25 return and reprocessing fee. For more information about payment plans, click here.

  • Waitlist Status: If there are friends on waitlists, they have received updates from camp on exactly how the waitlist process works, and we are working on waitlists every day to ensure as many campers as possible can attend.

  • Holiday Office Closure: From Friday, December 13 through January 3, most of our staff will be working remotely and/or have time off for the holidays. Feel free to reach out, but be prepared for delays in responses. Our office will re-open on Monday, January 6.

  • Family Camp: Registration for 2024 Family Camps will open in January. Families who attended Family Camps in 2024 can register beginning Tuesday, January 7 at 7pm. New families (or returning from past years) can register beginning Thursday, January 9 at 7pm. You can find the details on our website here. We expect cabins to fill quickly!

  • Questions? Specific summer detailed information will come in the spring but visit our Summer 2025 Camp Guide now to see the basics as well as FAQs and details from last summer. We’ll let you know each month when new content is added. Of course, contact our office at any time with questions. You can reply to this email or use the info on our website to contact us.

FUN NEWS

  • Social Media: We want to stay connected with you all year long! Check out the latest posts on Instagram or Facebook to see the pictures around camp, what our staff are up to, and stay connected! This month, our friend Gnorm the Gnome is getting into some shenanigans around camp. 

  • Staff Hiring: Camp Greenville’s summer staff hiring process has begun! If you know anyone interested in working at camp, please invite them to check out the info on our website here, and apply soon before spots are all filled.
