Waitlist Process

If you have been added to a waitlist, it means that ALL CAMPER SPOTS ARE FULL for your preferred session and program for your camper’s age level and gender.

If a spot in a full session becomes available...

  1. We will contact the first waitlisted camper’s family.

  2. The camper’s registration will be put into “applied” status, which means it is a pending registration; and we will reach out via at least two methods (email, text, or phone).

  3. You have 24 hours to respond to confirm and your deposit will be charged and confirmation email sent.

  4. If we have not heard from you or you have not paid your deposit within 24 hours, we will offer the spot to the second waitlisted camper’s family, following the same method.

Waitlist Movement

Unfortunately, there is no way to predict how quickly your position will move up the waitlist (if at all).

The only two ways your position on the waitlist will improve are:

  1. a registered attendee cancels their registration, or

  2. someone above you on the waitlist removes themselves from the waitlist.

There is also the chance that your position on the waitlist could become lower. This is not common, but could happen due to the ways our registration system records waitlist timestamps and when we give priority to a family for special circumstances (including complicated sibling combinations of sessions).

Waitlist Timeline

  • You may complete the form below to request information regarding your camper’s waitlist position (for example, are they #2 on the waitlist and therefore more likely to move into active registration, or are they #20 on the waitlist and therefore, less likely?)

  • We expect to see minimal changes to the waitlist, but will contact you if a spot becomes available.

  • Beginning January 15, families who cancel will receive only 50% refund on the payments they have made toward camp. Therefore, we expect that families will make decision about camp leading up to this date and there may be more waitlist movement in January due to cancellations.

  • Early spring is a good time to complete the form below to request information regarding your camper’s waitlist position. If their position still seems unlikely to move to the top of the list, you may want to consider other summer plans at this point.

  • Beginning March 15, families who cancel may not receive a refund. Therefore, we expect that families will make decisions about camp leading up to this date and there may be more waitlist movement in March due to cancellations.

  • As families are finalizing and confirming their plans for summer, we expect to see minimal changes to the waitlist, but will contact you if a spot becomes available.

  • As all summer plans are being finalized, last minute opportunities may become available. We will contact you if a spot becomes available.
