Roles at Camp Greenville
Cabin Leaders: Cabin Leaders are the captains of their cabins. Alongside our LDPs, they live with the campers in a cabin and guide them through a week-long experience while supporting all their physical, social, and emotional needs. Whether it is on base camp or adventure, our cabin leaders sprinkle a bit of magic in everything they do and are the heart of camp. This is the most important role as they are known to have the biggest impact on our campers.
Program Team: The individuals on our Program Team are responsible for running most of the activities that happen at camp. Some of our camp activities include arts and crafts, paddle sports, swimming and playing at the waterfront, archery, riflery, rock climbing, high ropes course, discovering nature, and outdoor campouts. The major roles of our program team are to encourage our campers, help them find success during activities, support cabin leaders, and be the energetic hype team of camp.
Adventure: Our adventure staff are the individuals who create the magic of camp while embracing the wonders on the outdoors. This team includes cabin leaders but also trip leading specialists. A big piece of adventure is getting a chance to experience white water rafting, hiking, caving, canoeing, cooking outdoors, and camping outside. This skillful bunch will foster community on the highest level while experience the joys and thrills of Mother Nature.
Support Team: These awesome people are the ones who help take care of the “set” and “backstage” areas of camp. They will also get a chance to experience the activities and excitement of camp alongside our other staff and campers. Our support team put their efforts into making sure our camp community is fed well and that everything is clean and working in proper order as they help manage our facilities like our cabins and the dining hall.
