Easter Sunrise Service 2024

YMCA Camp Greenville staff, board members, volunteers, friends of camp, and thousands of online viewers enjoyed our sunrise service on Easter morning. Cory Harrison, our Vice President of Overnight Camping, gave the Resurrection Sunday message at Pretty Place Chapel as the sun rose over the hills Easter morning.

Pretty Place visitors woke up early to be on the mountain while it was still dark and bundled up to hear the sunrise Easter message. Our staff was there to greet them with hot chocolate and coffee as they found their seats.

Guests joined Mark Moseley, our Director of Adventure Programs, in songs of worship: Come Thou Front, In Christ Alone, Sanctuary, and Indescribable, to start off the morning.

As the sun rose over the mountains, Cory gave us the Resurrection story and shared an inspiring message of the interconnectedness of life and death.

We are so thankful to everyone who was able to join us for an incredible morning in-person and virtually for our Easter Sunrise Service.

Our sunrise service would not be possible without our generous donors and volunteers. If you’d like to donate to help support this event and the Pretty Place Chapel Accessibility Project please make a donation at campgreenville.org/donate or text the word “pretty” to 41444.
