Introducing Katy!

We are excited to share that Katy Harvill will join our year-round staff team this fall as the Camp Communications Coordinator!

Katy graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2023, with a Bachelors degree in Recreation Management and Recreational Therapy.

Leading up to summer camp season 2024, she worked at YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly. Katy has worked previously at both YMCA Camp Classen and YMCA Camp Loma Mar. She brought boundless energy and fresh ideas to her role as a Division Leader for our youngest campers (Division 1) this past summer, and was awarded the Chad Fossen “Rookie of the Year” award in August at the conclusion of the summer camp season.

In Katy’s new role as Camp Communications Coordinator, she’ll assist with registration, communications, social media, and camp store.
