Summer 2025 Themes Announced
Summer Camp is just around the corner, and we know our campers and parents are getting ready!
Friday evening at camp always includes theme dinner and camper show. The dining hall and campers get dressed up and we celebrate the week we have had with a dinner dance party. Check the listings below to see what the theme is for the week your camper is here and add some fun dress up items to your packing list. If 2 weeks are on your schedule, make sure to pay attention to both weeks as each Friday will have a different theme.
New and Different for 2025:
Camp History and Lore PLUS a Fun Theme!
This summer, we’re celebrating 100 Years on the Mountain, so we’re giving a campy twist to all of our themes to celebrate and honor our mountain history and the great people and places around Camp Greenville! New campers: If you’re not sure what all these people and places mean yet, have no fear! You’ll catch up quick once you arrive at camp. For now, focus on the parts of the theme description that make sense to you!
Session 1, June 8-14:
Sudie’s Safari
Grab your best safari-themed outfit and get ready to explore! Think jungle animals, and adventurous explorers. Be prepared to go wild!
Session 2, June 15-21:
Marchant Motion Picture
Bring a movie-inspired costume and get ready to walk the red carpet! Dress as your favorite movie character, a classic film star, or even a behind-the-scenes director. Be creative and camera-ready for your big moment!
Session 3, June 22-28:
Rainbow Falls Rodeo
Dust off your boots and pack your best rodeo gear! Cowboy hats, plaid shirts, bandanas, jeans, and boots are all perfect for our fun-filled rodeo celebration. Let’s lasso up some fun!
Session 4, June 29-July 5:
Mulligan's Moon Mission
Prepare for an out-of-this-world space adventure! Come dressed as an astronaut, alien, star, planet, or anything galactic. Get ready to blast off!
Session 5, July 6-12:
Pirates of the “Camp”ibbean
Ahoy, matey! Get ready to sail the high seas, camp-style. Come dressed as a pirate, treasure hunter, or seafaring adventurer for some swashbuckling fun.
Session 6, July 13-19:
Mountaintop Masquerade
Step into the mystery of the mountains with our epic camp masquerade! Whether you're rocking a cool mask, a mysterious disguise, or a wild costume of your own creation—anything goes!
Session 7, July 20-26:
Ye Old Camp Greenville
Step into a world of castles and quests! Dress in your finest medieval attire—knights, princesses, dragons, wizards, and more are all welcome in our kingdom.
Session 8, July 27-August 2:
Monk’s Ultimate Time Machine
Hop in the time machine and travel to your favorite decade! Whether it’s the groovy ‘60s, funky ‘70s, neon ‘80s, or grunge ‘90s, show off your best retro style for a blast from the past.
