Highlights from Volunteer Work Day 2023:

Saturday, April 1 started off with high winds and rain but that didn’t stop our 34 volunteers, which included camp families, board members, summer staff, and LDPs, from rolling up their sleeves and getting to work. Our volunteers spent the day prepping our camp for upcoming events and summer camp. In the morning, they deep cleaned cabins, chopped logs for firewood and tree cookies, and building new picnic tables.

By lunchtime, the sun was out and volunteers took a well-deserved break. They enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs in the dining hall before beginning the afternoon projects. After lunch, mulch was laid throughout camp and volunteers pressure washed the amphitheater, campfire benches, and the dining hall porch.

We want to thank everyone who spent their Saturday getting Camp Greenville ready for our campers!
