Summer Prep: Packing for Camp

Get those suitcases and trunks ready! It’s almost time to pack for camp! Here, we’ve compiled all the official info (click that “download packing list” button to get the details) plus a helpful map to under-bed space, and tips and tricks from our professional camp parents! They know what’s up. And don’t worry: if your camper is registered for an Adventure session, there’s a special video for you below too. Check it out!

Pro tip: For my D1 camper, she packs each day’s outfit in a gallon size ziplock bag. That way, she knows exactly what’s clean or dirty and doesn’t need to dig through her suitcase to find each piece. Of course, we pack plenty of extra outfits too, and a ziplock with extra socks, etc!
— Cory Harrison, VP of Overnight Camping; and Cate, Division 2 camper
My biggest tip for cabin life is to practice the morning and nighttime routines with the suitcase, carrying outfits and toiletries from the bedroom to the bathroom each time.
— Jenna Johnson, Director of Camping; and Daxton, Division 2 camper

Special Notes for Adventure Campers:

Be sure to view ALL PAGES of the downloadable packing list above. There are 2-3 lists for Adventure Campers: one for general packing (all campers), one for Adventure program packing (D2 and D3 campers), and one for individual adventure trips (D3 campers).
