Pretty Place Chapel to Re-open for Public Visitors Feb 9

This is an UPDATE to a previously predicted date for the re-opening of Pretty Place Chapel, which has been closed to public visitation since January 23 for the installation of a new gravel parking lot, to hold an additional 40 cars at the popular outdoor chapel site.

According to Director of Operations, Nicholas Patton, “Crews are working hard to finish the project and ensure it’s ready for visitors to return. We’ve confirmed that Pretty Place Chapel will be closed through next Wednesday, February 8, and is scheduled to re-open for visitors on Thursday, February 9.”

Photos below show the construction progress, and the nearly completed parking area, which will hold approximately 40 vehicles, in addition to the current paved lot.

As always, please check the Pretty Place Visitation Schedule webpage before visiting to ensure the Chapel will be open for viewing on your preferred day.
