Pretty Place Parking Lot Expansion Underway

The first phase of Camp Greenville’s Pretty Place Accessibility Project is underway with construction beginning on the new gravel parking lot, to serve an additional 40 cars.

Crews have been hard at work removing trees and debris. The additional parking (which will hold approx 40 cars) is beginning to take shape.

The goal is for the new lot to alleviate congested parking areas to increase safety.

Although a small tract of trees and underbrush needed to be removed for this to be possible, we’re focused on limiting the impact to the natural environment - and especially the beautiful view!
