January Camper Updates
[This information applies specifically to registered summer camp participants, and was sent via email to registered families on January 11.]
Happiest New Year to you and your family! We hope the holiday season was restful and fun, and full of great family memories! We are so excited that it's finally 2025 because that means the summer countdown can officially begin!
I meant to send you this message yesterday, but... it was a snow day at camp! Staff who live on-site year-round postponed our work projects yesterday afternoon to play in the snow on the athletic field, sled down the Health Hut hill, and enjoy some hot cocoa.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Finances: If you did not pay-in-full at the time of registration, you are enrolled in a monthly payment plan, and the next scheduled auto-payment is January 15. If you would like to change your account payment source, please contact our office and we can take care of that for you! You can also DIY it in your Parent Portal under "Financial Management".
Cancellations and Refunds: Our refund procedures change on January 15. I am including our cancellation and refund procedures below for easy reference, but you can find additional details on the FAQ page of our website. If you think you may need to cancel, please be aware of this deadline to receive a full refund.
REFUND POLICY: If you realize you must cancel (at any time), you are required to notify the camp office in writing via email to Stacie Simpson, including any relevant information that might be used to determine refund eligibility.
Before January 15, 2025, our summer camp cancellation and refund policy is very flexible. If your circumstances change, just let us know, and we'll provide you with a refund, less your $100 deposit per camper per session.
Between January 15 and March 15, 2025, a cancellation for any reason will result in a 50% refund of fees paid to date.
Between March 16 and May 15, 2025, refund requests for major life circumstances beyond your control (such as family relocation, serious injury/illness, emergency hardships, etc) may be submitted with documentation for refund consideration.
After May 15, 2025, no refunds can be provided for any reason.
FUN NEWS!
It's time to download (or login to) your Campanion App for 2025! If you attended camp in 2024, you should already have this app on your phone. If you're new to Camp Greenville, click here to download the app. Then, sign in with your Parent Portal email and password (the same you used to register for camp). You'll begin to received updates and information from Camp! Plus, during summer, you'll get instant access to photos of your camper and the ability to send them notes!
Staff hiring is well underway for the summer season, and we're getting so excited about the team! If you know anyone interested in working at camp, please invite them to check out the info on our website here, and apply soon before spots are all filled. We still have openings for Adventure Trip Leaders, Male Cabin Leaders, and Ropes Team.
Family Programs are up and running for 2025! Did you know? We offer Family Camp weekends for the whole family, and Adventure Guides events for Dads and kids!
Registration opened this week for Family Camp Weekends, and we still have a couple cabins remaining in Fall Family Camp, as well as our specialty camp for families with a Member who's Autistic or with Down Syndrome, called Spectrum-Stargazers.
Adventure Guides will be Snow Tubing next weekend at Moonshine Mountain - with bus transportation from Greenville. Kids in grades 3-6 can attend with Dad. Deadline to register is Jan 14.
Registration opened this week for our annual Daddy-Daughter Dance in Greenville, February 8. Girls in grades K-12 are invited to attend with Dad. Deadline to register is Jan 24.
The Online Camp Store was closed for the holidays, but we're OPEN now, and ready to receive your orders. Cozy hoodies, winter beanies, cuddled stuffed animals, and more are all waiting for you, just a few clicks away.
WHAT'S NEXT?
As we get further into the winter and spring we will be sending out specific summer information as it relates to summer details (packing list, themes, etc).
For now, here is a general timeline of what to expect when:
January 13, 12pm: Deadline to make changes to your monthly payment plan details before payments are processed on January 15.
February: Forms (ie; health history etc) will become available. Don’t worry - we’ll let you know and send instructions.
March: Summer Weekly Themes will be announced and a packing list will be sent.
April: Meet the summer team and camp prep information will be provided.
April 15: Last payment of all payment plans.
May 5: All forms due online.

Please note that, with various camp deadlines approaching, it is a very busy time in our office, so thanks in advance for your patience in receiving replies to emails or phone calls.
